Traditionally the patients I.V. bag is hung on a free standing I.V. pole and when a patient is having a procedure which requires the table top to be translated then the I.V. pole as well needs to be manually moved. The Rail Mounted I.V. Pole ensures the I.V. bag remains safe and moves with the table top.
