The Mizuho OSI EMEA Enabling Technology Spine Course is a one-day cadaveric lab that provides surgeons with the hands-on experience and knowledge they need to effectively use the ProAxis® Spinal Surgery Table and the Trios® Surgical Table with the Levó® Head Positioning System within their practice. The course will be led by experienced spine surgeons who have integrated Mizuho OSI specialty spinal surgical tables into their practices.

 

 

Mizuho OSI 2024 EMEA Spine Course

Ideal Participants

The course targets surgeons with experience in spine surgery (3-10 years) who are interested in Mizuho OSI spinal devices and aim to gain the knowledge needed to determine which table solution best fits their daily practice.

Course Format

The course will be a one-day training dedicated to providing comprehensive insight into Mizuho OSI’s ProAxis, Trios and Levó Systems, and the respective synergies with various medical devices. Following an introductory lecture, participants will engage in hands-on demonstrations of diverse surgical techniques. Our experts will showcase the features and benefits of the devices, emphasizing their role in improving patient outcomes.

Travel/Accommodations

Flights and hotel accommodations of participating surgeons will be the responsibility of the distributor or attendee.
 
Mizuho OSI will cover the expenses of the training course organization and course meals.

Dr. Giuseppe Sciarrone

Dr. Giuseppe Sciarrone

Throughout Dr. Giuseppe Sciarrone’s career as a neurosurgeon, he has specialized in disorders and pathologies affecting the spinal column. In recent years, thanks to significant technological advancements, he has turned with great interest and satisfaction to robotic spinal surgery. Over the past twenty years, Dr. Sciarrone has performed over 10,000 surgical procedures.

Dr. Rodolfo Maduri

Dr. Rodolfo Maduri headshot

Dr. Rodolfo Maduri, a fully Board Certified Neurosurgeon in Switzerland (FMH, federal board) and Italy, and with European Board Certification in Neurosurgery (FEBNS), has dedicated his career to pediatric neurosurgical disorders. His expertise is complemented by his research interests in minimally invasive spine surgery. Dr. Maduri’s contributions to the field are evident in his authorship of numerous book chapters and peer-reviewed articles in the area of spine surgery, including the minimally invasive treatment of spine tumors, cervical disc herniations, and thoracic disc herniations.
