Selection of the appropriate height for the Carriage is determined by the patient’s size such that his or her center of gravity is at or below the center of rotation of the Crossbar. The specific procedure to be performed and the surgeon’s preference should also be considered when choosing the appropriate height for the Carriages.
To align the Mounting Hooks on both the Head-End and Foot-End properly with the Carriage Bars prior to securing in place, it may be necessary to overshoot, or move one end of the table top further toward the Column beyond the edge of the Carriage.
Procedure Preparations
Mizuho OSI’s Femoral Hooks and Femoral Hook Support must be cleaned and sterilized according to your hospital’s washing, decontamination, and sterilization procedures before each use.
